Exploring Lake Powell, Arizona

Start the adventure by picking up your rental car in Phoenix and set out on a scenic 4-hour and 20-minute drive to Page, Arizona.


As the afternoon fades, make your way to the iconic Horseshoe Bend by 5:30 PM to catch an unforgettable sunset. Watch as the golden light washes over the dramatic curves of the Colorado River — a truly breathtaking natural spectacle perfect for photos and peaceful reflection.


After soaking in the stunning views, wind down your day with a delicious dinner at El Tapatio, where you can enjoy authentic Mexican flavors in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect end to a day filled with beauty and adventure!

Lake Powell

Start your morning bright and early with a quick grocery store run at 7:00 AM to stock up on snacks and sandwich fixings – perfect fuel for an active day ahead!

By 9:00 AM, pick up your kayaks from Antelope Point Marina Rentals ($45 per person) and set off on a scenic paddle across the shimmering waters toward Antelope Canyon. It’s about a 1 hour and 40-minute journey one way, offering stunning views of the lake along the way.


Arrive at Antelope Canyon around 11:00 AM for a hike through this unforgettable slot canyon, marveling at the swirling sandstone walls bathed in beams of natural light. (Note: The land entrance to the canyon was closed due to COVID, making kayaking in an amazing alternative way to explore.)


By 1:00 PM, paddle back to the marina and get ready for some water fun! Around 3:00 PM, enjoy wakesurfing and a leisurely boat ride through the beautiful canyons of Lake Powell. If you don’t have your own boat, renting one is highly recommended to make the most of this experience.


After an action-packed day on the water, relax with a delightful dinner at Jádí To´ho Restaurant right on the marina at 9:00 PM.


Heads up: There’s a $30 fee to enter Antelope Point Marina, and kayak rentals tend to book up quickly—so planning ahead is key for this unforgettable day at Lake Powell!

Zion National Park

Begin with a scenic 2 hour and 20-minute drive to Zion National Park, arriving around 10:00 AM. After checking in at the Hampton Inn Springdale by 12:30 PM—a convenient base for exploring the park—you’ll head out for a refreshing afternoon hike.


At 1:00 PM, tackle the Canyon Overlook Trail, a short but rewarding 1-mile roundtrip hike that delivers stunning panoramic views of Zion’s towering cliffs and deep canyons. It’s the perfect warm-up for what’s ahead.


By 3:00 PM, catch the shuttle (tickets must be purchased a day in advance, but there’s also a free first-come, first-served option later in the day) to the Angel's Landing trailhead. The hike to Angel's Landing starts at 3:30 PM, covering roughly 5 miles roundtrip. This iconic trail offers exhilarating views and plenty of adrenaline with its narrow ridges and steep drop-offs—truly a bucket-list adventure!


After an epic day of hiking and awe-inspiring vistas, unwind with a well-deserved dinner at Zion Pizza & Noodle Co. around 7:00 PM.

Zion National Park

Start your morning bright and early at 8:00 AM with a tasty breakfast at Café Soleil, fueling up for an epic day ahead. At 8:30 AM, pick up water shoe rentals from Zion Outfitter ($25) – essential gear for hiking The Narrows through the river!


By 9:00 AM, hop on the shuttle to The Narrows Trailhead and get ready for an unforgettable hike. Starting around 9:30 AM, trek the iconic Narrows—an approximately 11-mile roundtrip adventure wading and walking through the stunning Virgin River, surrounded by towering canyon walls. This unique hike offers an incredible, immersive experience in Zion’s breathtaking landscape.


After a full day of exploring, head to Bit & Spur at 7:30 PM for a delicious dinner to celebrate your adventure.


Tip: Don’t forget to rent water shoes and pack a sense of adventure for this one-of-a-kind Zion experience!

Bryce Canyon National Park

Start your morning with a cozy breakfast and coffee at Feel Love Coffee in Zion at 9:00 AM before setting off for the 3-hour drive to Bryce Canyon, arriving around 1:00 PM.


Once there, enjoy an unforgettable horseback tour through the striking Red Canyon—towering red rock formations surround you as you explore this beautiful landscape from the saddle.


As evening falls, savor a delicious dinner at The Pines at 6:30 PM, offering a perfect blend of hearty flavors and rustic charm.


Cap off the day with a unique overnight stay at the Soaring Hawk Tipi Airbnb, where a warm bonfire awaits to keep the chilly night (temperatures can dip into the 40s) cozy and memorable under the stars.


Note: Bryce Canyon National Park requires a $35 entry fee, valid for 7 days—enjoy every moment of this stunning natural wonder!

Arches National Park, Moab, UT

Begin your morning at 9:00 AM with a breathtaking visit to Inspiration Point Lookout in Bryce Canyon—an ideal spot to soak in sweeping views before heading out.


At 10:00 AM, embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to Moab via the I-12, a beautiful route that takes you through Capitol Reef National Park and offers plenty of stunning landscapes along the way.


Arrive in Moab around 3:00 PM and set out for the iconic Delicate Arch hike—a moderately challenging 3-mile roundtrip trek that leads to one of the most famous natural arches in the world. The views are absolutely worth every step!


By 5:00 PM, check in to the Holiday Inn, your comfortable home base in Moab.

Finish the day with a tasty dinner at Bangkok House Too at 6:00 PM, where delicious Asian-inspired dishes provide the perfect end to an adventurous day.


Note: Taking the scenic route adds a memorable detour through Capitol Reef National Park and fantastic desert vistas, making the drive part of the adventure.

Canyonlands National Park, Utah

Start with a short 45-minute drive to Canyonlands at 10:00 AM, arriving refreshed and ready to explore.


At 11:00 AM, hike the White Rim Overlook trail—a rewarding 2-mile roundtrip trek offering stunning views of Canyonlands’ vast canyons and rugged terrain.

Next, head to Mesa Arch for a quick but iconic 0.5-mile roundtrip hike at 12:00 PM. This famous arch perfectly frames the dramatic landscape beyond, making it a must-see photo spot.


By 3:00 PM, check in at The Hyatt Place Moab, your comfortable home after two adventurous days in the Moab area.


Cap off the day with dinner at The Sunset Grill at 6:30 PM. Boasting some of the best views in Moab, it’s a fantastic place to unwind and reflect on the awe-inspiring beauty of the day.


Note: Arches and Canyonlands are very close, so staying in Moab both nights makes for an easy and relaxing base. Switching hotels mid-trip is a great way to use points while enjoying different accommodations!

Rise early at 4:00 AM for an adventurous 4.5-hour drive from Moab to the charming mountain town of Breckenridge.


Enjoy a well-deserved breakfast at Blue Moose at 8:30 AM—a cozy spot perfect for fueling up with hearty, delicious options.


At 9:30 AM, continue your journey with a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Denver.

By noon, take a short 30-minute drive to Boulder, where a leisurely stroll and some shopping await you along the vibrant Pearl Street Mall starting at 12:30 PM.


Wrap up your day with dinner and drinks at Improper City back in Denver around 5:00 PM, soaking in a lively atmosphere and great flavors to celebrate the last evening of your road trip adventure.


Whether soaking in mountain views or enjoying city vibes, this day blends the best of Colorado’s spirited towns!
